Dear Grace Baptist,
Thank you for giving us the privilege to be one of the missionaries of the week. It was truly a blessing for us to wake up this morning and see our name on the list. It is all in God's timing, because next Friday Rhonda and I are leaving for Guatemala for a two week medical mission trip to an area that we have not worked in before. Please pray that the Lord will be lifted up and that the people will be accepting of the wonderful gift of the Gospel.

In His Service and Yours,
Dr. Adam and Rhonda Reed
1 Peter 4:10-11

We do greatly appreciate your prayers. I don't have a new update other than the blood transfusion went well. She was only given 40 ml. She also gained 50 grams, which makes her weigh 2 lbs. 4 oz. Thank you everyone!

The Begining of Pastor Green's Dream.

Pastor Green had a dream to see all the unsaved people who lived in the streets to have a place of refuge, a safe place to come and fellowship with the Lord. Since I had a degree in criminal social work I felt I could be qualified to do such an order. It worked! Joyce and I flew to Chicago to a conference of training and certifying. (TWO YEARS AGO).
We recruited 12 great people to help us.
Our first client was a man who had been in and out of prison and had a pretty big portfolio of arrests. He had just received the Lord and was being instructed by Pastor Green and others in the church. Roland was a challenge and certainly a diamond in its rough stage. We clicked together and soon was running in and out of drug buildings in the city of Middletown. We were recruiting students to attend the meetings on Friday nights. Roland was no perfect student at first...he threw books, stormed out of the meetings and said, a lot of choice words but " HE ALWAYS CAME BACK".
Joyce and I had a lot of other students with a lot of unwanted habits. One constantly paced all over the room and would not pay attention. He had lots of stories some true and some not. We worked with him over 48 weeks. Joyce stood at the door handed him a bar of soap, wash rag and towel. We gave him clean clothes and he was ready for the meetings and he started feeling better about his hygiene.
One called us Christmas eve and said, he had just been evicted from the place he was staying. We took him some clothes from the pantry and Joyce packed him some groceries from our house to tie him over. We took him to a place to stay and he turned and said,"Merry Christmas", he said this was a very good Christmas as the Lord has blessed him with friends.
We moved another one that had been kicked out of their place to live. We rented a u-haul and move his belongings to another Goverment Housing. Believe me his contents to move were pure trash.
We saw another girl carry her baby through the nine months and deliever a baby girl.
I could go on and on but I wanted you to see just a glimpse of our daily adventures. There were 16 saved some made tremendous progress and has moved on. We loved each of them as our family. God bless them all and THANK YOU GRACE BAPTIST for the opportunity to serve.
