Happy Birthday, Dr. Sears!

This past Sunday we honored Dr. Sears after the morning service.  What a man of God!  Here is one photo I was able to snap that day:

Feb. 27 – 2:30 – 4:30 PM, Mar. 6 – 2:30-4:30 PM, Mar. 13 – 2:30 – 4:30 PM, Mar. 14 – immediately following AM Service – 4 PM. Any questions, please contact Monica Litteral.

Sunday, March 7th, during the AM service the GBC Youth will conduct their annual Teen Sunday.  Please invite all teens that you see to be in attendance that day.

Here is a brief schedule for that day for the youth:

9:45 AM - Teen Breakfast for all teenagers before Sunday school in the youth room

10:00 AM – Sunday School

11:00 AM - Teen Sunday AM Service

12:30 PM – Lunch in Fellowship Hall for all teens

2:00 PM – Outreach

4:00 PM - Arrive back at Grace

We are still in need of more donations for the Enabled Ministry Food Pantry.  Each class has specific items that have been assigned to them.  Please take time to locate the list on the Enabled Blog (http://enabled.gbcblogs.com) and when you swing by the grocery store, please pick up an item for donation.

If it is easier for you to donate, please designate on the envelope: “Enabled.”

Lastly, your newspaper coupons can be of use for this ministry, please put Sunday coupons in the basket located in the foyer of the auditorium.  Thank you, and keep praying!

Let’s get the word out.  Please invite your friends to the MCS Open House this Sunday from 2:00 PM – 4:00 PM.  We are praying for a very good year this coming school year, spiritually and quantitatively.  If everyone get’s involved, this will be a tremendous help and blessing.

Thank you to the over 35 of you that attending this very important time.  We will be scheduling a follow up meeting with Pastor Green to go over the material.  Please continue to pray about your involvement in this important ministry.  God bless you.

The new Children’s Sharing Corner will be open after every Sunday Evening Service until 8 PM. This is where members of the church (parents and grandparents) and visiting missionaries may pick up and/or donate clothing.  The Sharing Corning is located next to the nursery, with two rooms of gently used children’s clothing from birth to 10/12. If you can donate some large storage bins, or want to donate some clothes, please call Tammy Lykins at  937-286-9481.

We will be observing the Lord’s Table on Wednesday, February 17 at 7 PM.

Recycle your week’s newspapers at MCS Abitibi Paper Retriever Bin!  Our paper retriever is a
fund-raising program, which helps us raise money for the MCS libraries.  Please recycle your newspapers, magazines, catalogs, office paper and old mail at the Green & Yellow Bin in the
parking lot.
