Hello All,
This is just a brief reminder that next Saturday, August 7th is the outreach blitz at 10:00 AM. We will meet in the Joyful Women classroom. It is specifically for the Lamplighters and Searchers classes, but we invite any and all adults. We need to reach our city, and this can happen one door at a time by God’s grace.

The Grace Baptist Church of Middletown, OH celebrated 65 years in existence this past week. Dr. John Hamblin preached, and the Lord did bless with souls saved and some baptisms! Praise the Lord.
Friday Night
On Friday night, we celebrated our Enabled Ministries. There were 20 visitors from Enabled present. The evening began with dinner at the Enabled facility. Things did not look hopeful when we realized that our bus would not restart. In spite of the minor set back, we were able to get all of the visitors to the service for the preaching time. Following the service the church partook of a dessert afterglow to cap off a great week.
Thank You
Thank you to all of you who worked diligently during the week of revival. Thank you to the staff. Thank you to those who provided meals. Thank you to those who sang in the choir. Thank you to all who took part in the week. God was glorified.

Mike Williams receives prize for 20 visitors from the Enabled Ministry
This evening came to a close, and it was nothing less than wonderful. The Lord has been blessing each evening. The preaching has been tremendously helpful.
Special Prayer Request
As we enter our final evening, please pray for something special that will be taking place on Friday evening. For the last couple of weeks several individuals have been working to organize a dinner at the Enabled Ministry. We will be shuttling people to the Enabled building for dinner. Following the dinner, we will shuttle individuals to the service. Please pray for souls to be saved, and Christians to be revived!
Looking Ahead
Just as a reminder, Friday night is pack-the-pew night. Please invite someone to be in attendance with you. Also, following the evening service there is a dessert afterglow in the gymnasium. God bless you, and we will see you there!

Nathan Litteral Wins! - 9 Visitors Last Night
It was again a tremendous blessing to be a part of this service tonight. The message tonight was needed in a great way. The title was “The School of Storms.” This message was for the believers who are going through the storms in life. It was a tremendous challenge and encouragement.
It is great to see the Lord working in the hearts of the people. The alters continue to be full, and there is truly a sweet spirit. We are expecting that God will send a mighty revival.
Here are some photos from the evening.
For each person that brings the most visitors on any given night, a very special gift is given away. Congratulations, Zola!

Day THREE has now come and gone. Don’t miss Wednesday. We will begin the evening with a small dinner at 6:15 PM in the Howard Sears Field house.
- We will also be recognizing our families from the tutoring ministry at Enabled.
- Lastly, the emphasis for the evening is “KIDZ” & “YOUTH.”
Wow! If you missed Monday night, then you missed a great blessing! Dr. John Hamblin preached the message entitled, “Cutting off the Voice of God” from Mark 6. The message was clear and concise. Praise the Lord for His continual working. The Voice of God is cut off when:
- We Skip Church
- We Snub the Preacher
- We Sadden the Holy Ghost
The stage had been set before the message with an impromptu altar call during the congregational singing. The Lord was really moving, but we know that the devil was at work as well. In spite of distractions, the Lord brought one young man down the aisle to trust the Lord and another for assurance of salvation. Praise God!
As a reminder, each evening the services begin at 7:00 PM. Don’t miss Tuesday night. The emphasis for Tuesday night is FAMILY NIGHT. Bring your family on Tuesday night. Also, on Wednesday night we would like to have you here at 6:15 for dinner in the Howard Sears Field House.
What is it that you are expecting God to do this week in and through you?
Well, day one has come and gone. The Lord did bless us tremendously. In the AM Hope Jones was recognized as the only charter member. Praise the Lord. In addition, Dr. Howard Sears was recognized as the Pastor Emeritus. The music was also right on: “I AM REDEEMED“!
The preaching was Biblical, and the Lord honored with the hearts of the people being stirred each service. In the AM service we heard of “The Voice from Beyond the Grave.” In the PM service we heard of “The Moment for God to Work.” We really do want to see the Lord move in a great way. We must move from the point where we are satisfied with stories we have heard of past revivals to the point where we see God actually do a mighty work in our individual lives.
Please continue to pray for each service this coming week. All services will begin at 7:00 PM each evening. On Monday
evening, is our “Friend and Co-worker Night.” For those of you that will read this while you are at work, please invite someone to attend with you this evening. For a listing of what will be emphasized each night see our prior posting at: http://gracetimes.gbcblogs.com/?p=494.
On Wednesday night, there will be a meal at 6:15 for all families in the Howard Sears Field house. Lastly, each night we will be recognizing the individual who brings the most visitors. There are special gifts for each evening.
We had our meeting this past Sunday. There are several families praying about going, and I do hope that all of them can actually attend this life-changing trip. We do not know if this opportunity will continue to be available for us, so don’t miss out.
We are limiting the number of young people that can attend, so please let Bro. Fernandez know if you are planning on attending. Here are some forms that you may need. The first is a sample mission’s letter that you can use to send to all of your family and friends regarding the trip. All support for this trip can be sent to Grace Baptist Church. We will keep separate accounts for each individual planning on attending.
