For many college students this coming week will be their last week at Grace.  For those that are staying, and for those that are leaving, we will be having a dedication and prayer time this coming Sunday evening.  Following the service, there will be a short afterglow.  PLEASE BE IN ATTENDANCE TO SHOW YOUR LOVE, PRAYER, AND SUPPORT FOR ALL OF THE COLLEGE STUDENTS.

Ride the Duck!

On Saturday, “the Way” college and career class had a unique, but fun, activity.  In Cincinnati, OH you can ride a duck.  Yep, you read that right!  We got to ride the ducks!

The ducks are amphibious vehicles that begin driving down the road, just like normal traffic.  We then take a turn into the Ohio River and ride in the water for about 30 minutes.  It was a great trip!  Praise the Lord that no one fell overboard.

Get involved in what is happening with this new class.  You can follow them on Facebook at: “the Way” (click here)

The Way: New Class Starts Sunday Morning!

18-28: this could be the most important decade of our lives.  We choose a college and/or a course of study.  We get our first real jobs, and form habits on how we spend our money.  We find our husbands and wives, marry, and begin families.  In short, we decide where and how we want to take root.  But where is God in all this?

Grace Baptist has designed a new class to address the issues you’re thinking about.  We believe God has a plan for you, and we believe it is possible to follow it.  We believe there is something to be learned from the statement of Christ: “I have come to give you abundant life.”  However, one question seems to wear on all our spirits: “Where can I find that life Jesus promised?”  We believe the key lies in one common scriptural theme: Those who lose their lives for the sake of Christ end up finding the desires of their heart.

We’re going to zero in on the lessons you cannot afford to miss.  No question is off the table…we’re unafraid to address any issue with the truth of scripture.  We’re going to dig in.  If you want to grow to really know God, recognize his voice, submit to his leadership, and carry out his plan, then join the discussion.  We’re on the way to spiritual growth – together.

Lord willing, our first meeting will be this Sunday, April 25, from 10:00 AM – 11:00 AM.  The class room is on the second floor, right above the main lobby.  Come hungry, ‘cause we’re going to have breakfast!

By the Lord’s leadership and will,

Brian Edward Messer – Teacher

Tony & Amy Trammell – Assistant teacher

Oleg & Margaret Semenov – Assistant teacher

“The Way” kicks off this coming Sunday.  This is the new college class that is kicking off this Sunday.  You will not want to miss this Sunday!

This Sunday, there will be a breakfast in the college room followed by Sunday school.  Please invite all college students to this special day.  We realize that several will not be home just yet, but we would like to have everything in place for when they do return.  Please pray for all of the families involved.
